  • Pre-K 3 & Pre-K 4: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Elementary (K-5): 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Secondary (6-8): 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Illinois Campus: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM

How do students get to GRS?

Most of our families arrive at school by car or by carpooling. All of our schools are located in walkable neighborhoods.

How much does GRS cost?

All 5 Golden Rule Schools locations are TUITION-FREE. There’s no cost, no fees, and our extra programs, including before and after care, are also free.

We believe every GRS student deserves access to quality education regardless of their financial situation.

How do I enroll at GRS?

Step 1: Complete an Initial Application. Visit any of our school offices or call us at (214) 333-9330 and a member of our bilingual staff will assist you in completing the application.

Step 2: Provide all necessary documents. Our registrar will work with you to make copies of your documents.

What academic and emotional support services does GRS offer?
  • Intentionally small classes, with most classes capped at 16 students

What clubs and sports does GRS offer?

Although not every Golden Rule School offers the same after-school options, every Eagle can participate in a variety of activities like:

Eagles play a lot of different sports at Golden Rule Schools:

What is the uniform policy?

Students are required to wear uniforms consisting of branded polo shirts with the school logo. Uniforms should be clean, neat, and tucked in. Undershirts should be white or black.

PK-5th Grade

  • Monday-Thursday: Red polos with navy blue or khaki slacks, properly hemmed or cuffed
  • Friday: Tucked-in blue t-shirt with school logo. Students may wear denim jeans
  • Hoodies: Students may wear hoodies in solid school colors: red, blue, or yellow. Hoodies are only allowed during outdoor activities

Middle School

  • Monday-Thursday: Navy blue polos with black, khaki, or navy pants
  • Friday: Yellow t-shirt with school logo. Students may wear blue jeans
  • Hoodies: Students may wear hoodies in solid school colors: red, blue, or yellow. Hoodies are only allowed during outdoor activities
  • Backpacks: Clear or mesh
  • Shoes: Closed-toe shoes are required. White socks are generally required daily. Crocs, flip-flops, and other sandals are not allowed

*Uniforms are available in the school office of the DeSoto campus.
