Mr. José A. Gallardo Virgen has been a dedicated member of the Golden Rule Schools team since 2009. Throughout his tenure, he has served in various leadership and instructional positions, including Bilingual Teacher, District Testing Coordinator, Director of Technology, and Campus Principal. His work has consistently focused on enhancing instruction, purposefully integrating technology, and supporting systems that promote success for both students and educators.

As Assistant Superintendent, Mr. Gallardo envisions students making meaningful and positive contributions within their communities or in communities they choose to serve. He is committed to providing all students with high-quality learning opportunities that prepare them academically, socially, and ethically for the future. His vision aligns closely with the district’s mission of “Educating Tomorrow’s Servant Leaders, Today!” emphasizing growth, responsibility, and service beyond the classroom.

Mr. Gallardo holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Systems Engineering, a Master’s Degree in Information Technologies from the University of Colima, Mexico and a Master’s Degree in Education with a specialization in Educational Technology Leadership from Lamar University.

Mr. Gallardo enjoys spending time with his family, including his spouse, Korina, and his daughters, Alma and Andrea. In his personal time, he enjoys programming (coding) and attending concerts, interests that reflect both his passion for innovation and appreciation for creativity.
