Golden Rule Schools

Golden Rule Schools began with a pastor and a purpose. In 2001, Dr. Vicente Delgado saw a gap in educational opportunity for families in south Dallas, students whose needs weren't being met by traditional schools. He believed those children deserved better, and he set out to build something that would meet them where they were.

What started as a single campus on Illinois Avenue has grown into five thriving schools serving thousands of students across the Dallas Metro Area for over the past 25 years. That first year wasn't without challenges, but the vision was clear, and the mission held firm: create a safe, student-centered environment where every child has the opportunity to succeed.

Today, Golden Rule Schools is living proof of what happens when a community truly invests in its children: they keep coming back. Alumni return to enroll their own kids, former students return to teach. Families grow up with us, one child at a time.

At Golden Rule Schools, we promise to make "Every Second Count" for every child in the quest for college and career readiness. We look forward to the challenging opportunities that lie ahead. These include providing relevant and engaging instruction for the students in our community, training and supporting programs for our talented and dedicated staff, and additional involvement and support options for our parents and community members.
