Mr. Alirio Carruyo-Romero has been part of the Golden Rule’s family for 16 years. He has served the school district in various roles both inside and outside the classroom, including as a Campus Principal and in the Central Office. Supporting students' academic success, extracurricular activities, and emotional learning has always been Mr. Carruyo's top priority. He lives by the motto, "Si no vives para servir, no sirves para vivir."
Mr. Carruyo's goal for the district is to ensure that every student and parent knows that at our School District, students have the opportunity to learn, develop skills, and excel in a safe environment. Mr. Carruyo's Vision is in total alignment with the district's vision and motto, at Golden Rule Schools we are “Educating Tomorrow's Servant Leaders, Today!”
Mr. Carruyo originally came to us from Maracaibo, Venezuela, his native country. He is an Electrical Engineer by training and holds a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Lamar University. He enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife, Claudia, and children, Marcela and Adrian.
His favorite hobby is watching his daughter and son participate in sports and music. He also enjoys photography, playing musical instruments, attending concerts, and watching sports and movies.
