A Day in PreK
Every day at Golden Rule PreK is designed to spark curiosity and build confidence. Throughout the day, children learn through play, conversation, and age-appropriate activities that prepare them for kindergarten and beyond:
Morning
Our students begin with breakfast, followed by circle time where they develop literacy skills, learn the alphabet, practice conversation, make friends, and sing together. Hands-on center time allows our preschool children to explore different materials at their own pace.
Afternoon
After lunch, students engage in science and math activities, including sensory exploration with sand tables and other tactile materials. The day includes recess, snack time, quiet time, and ends with a special read-aloud or story time.

Golden Rule families are actively involved in their children's education, creating a supportive network where parents and teachers work together. Our teachers come from—and remain deeply connected to—the communities we serve, understanding the unique needs and strengths of the families we welcome through our doors.

Program Details
PreK3 Program
Our PreK3 classroom welcomes your child's first big step into the world of school. This is where many students experience group learning for the very first time, transitioning from home with gentle guidance and lots of encouragement.
Enrollment Requirements:
A child must be three years old by September 1 of the current school year and meet at least one of the following criteria: economically disadvantaged, unable to speak and comprehend English, homeless, a child of a military member, or a child of a first responder or public school teacher.
In PreK3, we focus on helping children build social skills, develop independence, and discover the excitement of learning alongside friends. Your child will explore different materials tailored to a variety of learning styles, participate in hands-on activities, and begin their journey toward kindergarten readiness—all in a safe, welcoming space where they feel loved and valued.
PreK4 Program
Our PreK4 classroom builds on the foundation established in PreK3, preparing students for a confident transition to Kindergarten. Our PreK4 students continue developing literacy and math skills while deepening their ability to communicate, grow friendships, and experience joy at school.
Enrollment Requirements:
Child must be 4 years old by September 1st
PreK4 students benefit from a curriculum that challenges them appropriately while maintaining the playful, nurturing environment that makes learning joyful. They'll strengthen their academic foundations while continuing to grow socially and emotionally, ensuring they're truly ready for the next chapter of Golden Rule Schools.
